Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website. By accessing and ordering from this website you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Any contract formed between ourselves shall be governed by English Law and any disputes that arise will be resolved exclusively in the Courts of England.
The website is owned, operated and by Stella Femina LLP.
Content and Amendments
We take care and time to try and ensure our website is as accurate as possible, both in terms of prices displayed and description of products and services. All measurements displayed are approximate and any errors will be wholly unintentional. Orders will only be accepted should there be no material errors. We take no responsibility for colours of products not matching the colour displayed on your monitor as this depends entirely on the colour reproduction and capabilities of your screen.
We may make changes to the website at any time without notice or warning, including:
* Changes to these terms and conditions
* Changes to promotions, offers and discounts
* Changes to content and product information
* Temporary or permanent withdrawal of the website
Appearance
The vast majority of our jewellery are hand finished, so please be aware that they may not always look exactly the same as the images on the website. If this causes concern then please contact our customer service team, who will be happy to discuss your requirements with you.
Metal Weights and Carat Weights
Whilst we strive to ensure we supply all our jewellery within the weights specified on the item page, each item is unique. Therefore all items will be considered as suitable if they are within an acceptable trade tolerance, i.e. if the weight is within 5%.
Platings & Finishes
All finishes and platings are subject to wear & tear.
Finishes and platings applied to a ring are not permanent and will wear over time. This will vary from person to person based on daily wear and activities undertaken with the ring on.
Pricing
Prices displayed are in Pounds Sterling and inclusive of VAT.
We endeavour to ensure that all our prices are clearly displayed and that there are no hidden extras. The final amount payable will always be shown at the check-out before payment is made. By placing an order through our website, you are offering to buy the jewellery at that price. In the event of human error or software malfunction where the customer purchases an item online at the incorrect price, we reserve the right to return the amount paid in full and cancel the purchase.
Please note that discount codes cannot be used with sale items or sample orders. In the event that a discount code is used for a sale item, your order may be cancelled.
We change our discount codes regularly. We cannot be held responsible for the expiration of a discount code found online. Only one discount code can be used for each order placed.
Cancellations and refunds
Once you order has been dispatched you can return your item up to 30 days from the date of dispatch or collection, if it is not as described or you are unhappy with your purchase.
The item must be received back in its original condition, with all original documentation where applicable. We reserve the right to not accept an item back for refund or exchange if it shows excessive wear and tear (even within the 30 day returns policy).
Items will not be accepted back for refund or exchange where there is evidence that a third party has carried out work on the item.
Bespoke orders, engraved items and shaped rings are non-returnable.
Refunds will be made by the original method of payment.
Exchanges
Stella Femina LLP will offer to exchange any item on our website for another item available on our website providing it is of equal to or of a greater value than the item it is being exchanged for. All exchanges must be received within 30 days of first order being dispatched and all postage costs will be the buyers responsibility. We do not exchange bespoke orders or items that have been engraved or customised in any way. We will not exchange any item if it has been worn or damaged by the wearer. The jewellery must be returned in the condition it was sold.
Third parties
Your guarantee and 30 days returns policy is invalidated if you allow a third party to carry out any work on a piece of jewellery we have made for you.
Delivery and ownership of goods
As we make most of our jewellery to order we are only able to give estimated due dates. This is because we have to be prepared for all eventualities within the manufacturing process. Although rare, when delays occur, we will always update our customers should we experience any changes to their estimated due date as soon as we are made aware of them.
We use the Royal Mail Special Delivery (next day) service which means that items sent by us are fully insured until delivered and signed for. After that they are the customer's responsibility. We strongly advise customers to use this service in the event of returning an item of jewellery to us. Recorded delivery should not be used for sending jewellery.
If you require your purchased goods to be delivered by an alternative courier to that of the Royal Mail, you may be liable to an additional postage charge.
We do not charge for sample packages being returned to us if they are lost, damaged or delayed where the correct postal service was used and the sender has provided proof of posting.
Any item received by a customer without us first receiving full payment remains our property until all monies have been received.
